Plans

I just convinced my wife of the idea to 'get out a little bit' tomorrow, and we will drive to Heilbad Heiligenstadt to do some shopping for the weekend and visit this geohash afterwards. I know the location, because I have been there geocaching for about one year or so... This will certainly become a déjà-vu for me!

Expedition

With no hurry at all, we left home 13:30 pm and drove half an hour or so to Heilbad Heiligenstadt. The weather was pretty excellent for a little trip - a blue sky with sunshine, forests changing into yellow, red and brown - man, I love fall! The wife decided to go for the hash first, and do some shopping afterwards - and so it was done.

I exactly knew where the hash was located, since I had been only 70 meters away from it on August 11th 2017, to visit some geocaches in that same forest, which applies for both the déjà-vu and hash-collission achievements, making me a happy man *laugh* It only took us some 200 meters from the parking lot to reach the hash! As expected, there was no internet available here (some regions in Germany are still very very primitive if it comes to that - I don't even have a mobile phone signal at home!!), so I was happy to have stored the exact coordinates on my Garmin GPS device, which lead me to the hash directly...

After taking some obligatory pictures we got back to the car, did some shopping, did another small hike somewhere else to find us some chestnuts, and went home, where we arrived 16:00 pm.
