In an office building's parking lot on Sheridan Drive
When I checked the coordinates around 10am, I was surprised at how close it was to my location, but my first thought of "so who's backyard is it in" is always right there. As I zoomed in, things looked brighter and I found that it was actually an accessible hash and almost exactly 1 KM away from the office! I considered stopping on the way home from work, but Sheridan has terrible traffic at rush hour. I could easily go at lunch and try for my first real promising Walk Geohash. Being in a parking lot of what appeared to be an office building next to the McDonald's, I figured to make it more interesting by going No Batteries after taking a screenshot of the hash on the HashDroid app at the front door. Wow! 10 Meters to spare for the Cubicle Geohash Honorable mention too.
Cutting across the parking lot of the plaza by work, I made it to Sheridan Dr and crossed at the light by Evans St. Getting by McDonald's I easily lined up by the driveway between the two small office buildings and by the first parking spot. I got my pictures and headed back. A simple and easy expedition and finally completed a Walk. I've been thinking of throwing a tie in my car, just in case, but I never got around to it. I missed a chance for a Formal Geohash, but since I was wearing a short sleeve button down, a tie in this case would probably looked pretty weird anyway.
I made it back to the office without incident and still had a few minutes to spare.
