Within the concave side of a meandering river, I was led to believe. Lies! All lies!

Plans

I got off work early and decided to attempt this before dinner. The day of a spring snow, I'm likely to get wet.

Expedition

A snowy drive prevented the visibility of tree line for quite a long while. I followed a highway to the dirt turn off. Followed to the end of the road where, I had been led to believe, it would be a short walk to the hash. My gps indicated I needed to move toward the river, I did so until I could no longer. It involved a slippery hike down a steep, wintery slope. I was certain I would lose my footing, fall into the river and destroy all electronics on my person. I managed to hang on to the trees around me until I could go no farther. The hash was in the river, despite what google maps and open street map had claimed. I was unable to reach the hash and unable to claim this virgin graticule. No matter, I think I'm the only geohasher for miles... It will be mine.

Almost hit a bunch of birds on this lonely dirt road.
A nice, old-style, well maintained, private playground.
At this point I needed to go south, toward the river. I wasn't sure I wanted to try it. Snowy grasses and weeds and mud mix to create conditions the surest-footed goat would avoid.
After slowly moving my way downslope, clinging precariously to saplings and trees, I reached the river. It was about 5 ft directly below me.
Perched at the top of a small cliff as I was, holding fast to nearby objects, I found it difficult to manage a phone.
