Sunday, cloudy and some light rain. Rio Primero is 50km from Córdoba, and Juan & me are on our own for the day. Worth the shot :)

Expedition

After lunch, Juan & me headed East from Córdoba, crossing fingers the road North from Rio Primero was transitable after having rained the last week and also today. The mud roads area hard to navigate when wet (here that´s usually named "chocolate driving"), my car has no 4WD and it's no good thing being stuck in the mud in a rural road with one's kid in a rainy sunday.

We arrived at Rio Primero after 1pm and went North thru a road... Weeell, less than perfect. The car was slipping everywhere, and no place to turn around was to be found. We arrived at a point near the hash, where I made on foot the last 150m to the hashpoint while Juan waited in the car as it was drizzling.

The hashpoint was located in the middle of a crop field (soybean), maybe ready for harvest, but waist high and very very wet, so I got thoroughly damp trousers, let alone snickers and socks. Took some pictures from the location and returned to the car.

Going back a few dozen meters, the car finally got stuck in the mud. Not to be discouraged (and also having the spirit up due to an achieved hash), I jumped into the mud and started rocking the car back and forth while Juan cheered me up from the back seat, until the wheels gained traction and we finally escaped.

Not an easy hash despite being reached almost in its entirety by car, and also a great adventure with the kid!
