The first idea was to go by bike, but since my winter equipment is lacking at this time I decided to go by bus. And the weather forecast showed temperatures below 0°C for today, so let's go for a "public transport & freezing geohash".
I started around 9:00 AM and got onto the bus to get to the central train station for the bus to Heikendorf. And because I haven't got a thermometer, I tried to buy one. This was harder then expected, but finally got one. The bus number 100 to Heikendorf only goes every 30 minutes, so I had to wait but luckily in the warmth of the Sophienhof shopping center.
The bus drove around 30 minutes until I reached the last station in Heikendorf. The therometer at the Heikendorf town hall showed neat -3°C when the bus drove past it. The last 300 metres I made on foot, first along the road, then entered the field. The sun was shining but ground was still frozen and uneven. And it was windy and freezing cold. I took the photos for proof (the thermometer only showed -1°C but, hey, still counts) and went back to the bus station, as soon as I could. I was lucky to catch the next bus. I already mentioned that they run every 30 minutes only, and it was still cold and windy.
So, this was my first geohash in my home graticule.
