The first potential parking place was not ideal. Plan B involved a slightly longer walk. There was un-gated concrete hard standing at the field entrance to park. A wide mown grass verge gave easy walking. At the point of closest approach, I headed across the soil. There was no evidence of planting yet and no seedlings or even weeds. Yet another perfect midnight arrival.
