We determined we wanted the first midnight geohash and possibly a juggernaut or hobbit. We arrived at the point with plenty of time, scoping out the point we confirmed that it was indeed in the westbound left turn lane of Clinton and Andrews. When we initially investigated the point the aerials showed it as quite attractive. Further exploration of routes revealed many problems. First- The point was too close to Angel Food's work to claim a juggernaut. Second- The sidewalk contained too much broken glass to consider a hobbit safely. Third- A juggernaut from Red Velvet's work wasn't possible unless one wanted to slog through an approximate 1-2 mile stretch of swamp during freezing rain in 31-40°F weather. Fourth- A part of the journey went through a not-so stellar part of the city that we were not interested in walking/biking at night. Fifth- The weather was not cooperative during the day with it only being clear when we initially attempted the point and once again after dark. We determined we had waited two years to get an achievable juggernaut and we can wait another two years for it show up under better circumstances.
