Behind the main house on a private property in Rabenau-Allertshausen
This spot was just a couple of kilometres away and looked like a company property, so we thought we might try our luck.
We let the car navigation system guide us into the village and kept a lookout for the street. When we were in sight, we saw that it was a private house with a garage and quite a lot of rather big radio antennas. First, we walked around the border of the fishing lake next to it and then around the property concerned, with coordinates and compass wildly jumping, but inevitably, the coordinates were within the fenced in property. While there was no gate, of course I rang the bell, while Yakamoz secured the retreat line in case of wild animals or zombies. The elder lady had (of course) already spotted us lurking about, but was very friendly. Since her son was a geo cacher himself, the concept of a similar game wasn't that strange to her and she gave me permission to enter her garden, as well as coming with me- more out of curiosity than for security reasons. When I had 2 metres in the Satnav pointing into the house she even asked whether I would like to try inside. Since this was reasonably within accuracy anyway, hash dancing inside houses is a silly sport and her privacy meant more to me, I consider it reached- especially since I would have had her permission to enter, if the coordinates really were positioned inside the house. The house's nice resident didn't want to get photographed, though.
After this rather easy success and meeting the hashing-friendly lady, we made some use of the sunny weather and went for a stroll before heading back to Gießen.
