The hash lies in the forest of Heimartshausen, about nine kilometers away from Alsfeld in the Vogelsbergkreis.

Plans

I want to hitchhike from the truckstop Lohfeldener Rüssel to a parking area at the motorway A5, west of Alsfeld. Then I want to go through the forest.

Expedition

I have left home at 10:30, waited at the truckstop Lohfeldener Rüssel from 11:30 to 13:10. The driver who brought me to the rest area said me, that he knows this game. I arrived at the rest area at 14:12. Then I have walked through the forest, arrived at the hash, have had the usual fun, and went on to Heimertshausen. Then I have walked to the bundesstraße, where I waited for 15 minutes for a lift to Alsfeld. At the end of Alsfeld I have waited for 30 minutes, but then I noticed that there had been a traffic jam on the motorway to Kassel, so I decided to take the alternative bundesstraße. I walked to the next village, where the second car stopped, with it I got a lift direct to Kassel, where I arrived at 19:10.
