And it was much closer. Google and Bing overhead surveys placed it outside the lots occupied by houses to the east in a forested area. Looks to be right off the cul de sac - future development perhaps?
Too good to be true was more like it. This "greenspace" is marked plainly as No Trespass and Tampering with this Property a Federal Offense. I just wanted to visit a geohash point :P
After examining the many lovely signs, I drove around to the other side - if one of the lots were for sale, I might just lean over the fence to pick up the geohash? No luck - one was fenced and occupied, the other less fenced but nobody home. No ambassador, and besides it was raining pretty hard. Expedition fini.
