Expedition

Right after the previous hash we drove directly to this one, using the road 471 until Oberschleißheim. There we had to branch onto a "private state road" which is used by farmers and forest keepers to cut through the forests and fields. As it was the middle of the night and we didn't expect to meet anyone given how many snow was covering the road, we decided to move into. I was a bit unsure if it was really a good idea to drive on so much snow, as I didn't want to end up blocked somewhere in the middle of the fields on a road I had no reasonable reason to be on. I was comforted by the fact that there were tracks of a big vehicle (maybe a snowplow) on which I tried to stay as much as possible because the snow was hard on these tracks.

We finally arrived next to the field where I had spotted the hash to be. Only 100 meters were left. We walked in a straight line to the hash, sinking into around 20 cm of snow on every step.

When the GPS receiver announced we were at the hash, we took the usual pictures, headed back to the car and drove uneventfully back home.
