In Butovo forest park, about 100-200m from the road.

It was near the road, and it was a trail passing rear the hash. But the has was about 50m from the trail. The snow was about heaps deep, and covered with thin ice crust. Walking trough the snow that deep was not an option. Instead I got on my fours trying to keep on top of the snow. 50m there and back turned out to be quite an exercise. It addition, ice crust shards resulted in minor raptor attack traces on my forearms and knees.
