If Hijackal still isn't tired enough when he gets back home on Monday, he might get on his bike and attempt the hash.

Hijackal was tired, there was lots of work waiting for him. By the time he got out of the lab, there wasn't enough daylight to get there and back, so Hijackal was lazy and went straight home instead.
