Neenan Farms Cash Crop Field
This hash appeared to be a field expedition. With the amount of farming in the graticules around our home we would need to get comfortable searching out land owner's and asking permission. We printed out the ambassador template and had Bird's Eye pictures at the ready so that we could ask neighbors who operated the field. The first farm we stopped at informed us that he had just purchased the house and barns on the lot and that the lady that who had owned the farm land had sold it to her grandson and that we might be able to find him around the corner on York Rd. We proceeded to head north up York Rd and pulled over at the first farm with active equipment and inquired of the dairy farmers if they might know who operated the field. The lady of the house was a cousin-in-law of the grandmother, jackpot! She informed us that the land in question was Neenan farm land and provided us with directions to their house. We drove by a house that had the Neenan sign on the mailbox and a truck in the driveway, this was looking up. We proceeded to stop and ring the doorbell when we heard someone coming from a detached garage, score! We explained what we were doing and he not only gave us directions to the point, he offered to take us to where they park to reach the field. So away we went back up the road accompanied by the uncle of the field owner who gladly joined us in the trek across the fields. He's the man on the left in the picture. A great time was had by all. We had some carrot cake also but it disappeared before a picture could be taken.
