It's a little out of my way going to work, but my bank is a couple blocks away and I've needed to deposit a check.
[edit] Expedition
I stopped by the bank and dropped off my check and then proceeded to the hashpoint. I pulled up near the house and took the first picture. I figured since it was around 10am that no one would be home, but there was a car in the drive.
Rather than attempt an Ambassador Achievement, I decided on the casual walk-by approach. My GPS is my iPhone, so I plugged in headphones and made a call as cover. I wandered over to the tree and took the Stupid Grin picture. I was about to pop back over to my GPS app for a screen grab and I heard a voice say, "can I help you?"
Turning around I saw a father and son standing in the door and dad had a posture that told me explaining that "the internet sent me" wasn't going to be easy. I put the "I'm on the phone" show into Oscar performance mode (confusing my innocent friend), apologized for intruding and made my leave. I feel really bad about it.
I was planning on stopping for coffee and a scone, but a number of on-ramps for the freeway for closed and I had to do a bunch of re-routing and then traffic was horrible so I had to pass.
