In the beginning I planned the hash for my lunch break, but after a call with QuarterCacher we decide to do it together in the late afternoon.
[edit] Expedition
I stopped working at 4 pm and went to pick up QuarterCacher. After a short strong espresso we took off out in the dark to “Platte”, near Taunusstein. We parked at the end of a residential street and start walking along a muddy path and over an empty open grazing land. Unfortunately we had to stop 35 meters away from the hashpoint at a barbed wire fence without any chance to get into the paddock. We tried a while by walking along the fence, finally we decided to take the nearest point along the fence for the photos.
On the way back I lost my mobile when tying my loose shoelace, but I luckily noticed at the car 5 minutes later. So that we had no big problem to go back and find it.
Afterwards, we attempted and found the geocache “Silberbach” in a little forest nearby. It was combined with a nice walk through the dark.
Home again at 7 pm.
