South tip of Mayne Island, down a gravel road.

Plans

DonQuixote mentioned geohashing to his girlfriend at 12:30am as part of a Skype chat. Plans were made to catch the early ferry to Mayne at 5:45am, where we would have a half hour-we needed to be back in Victoria before noon.

Expedition

This expedition turned out well-no GPS though. Made it to the approximated site of the geohash in the dark before sunrise around 7:25am. Turned around and made the next ferry home. Was back by 10:00am. Total time was around 6h, most of it done before the sun rose.
