In the middle of a horse paddock a mile or so due south of stone mountain park.

I was very worried as I set out for this geohash that it was going to be a no-trespassing award. I was hoping that I was wrong.

I had asked my girlfriend earlier in they day if she would like to take a drive out past Stone Mountain Park. Since today is actually a good weather day, she agreed. It is still kind of cold but it is bright and sunny.

We all piled into the car and headed out. We took the scenic route around the mountain and the kids enjoyed the view.

As the eTrex was counting down the few remaining tenths of a mile, my fears soon became realized. The hash spot is still inside a fenced off area and there IS a horse inside it. I pulled into the driveway anyway.

As I parked the car, I could see a man in the yard for what looked like he was doing some kind of maintenance. I walked up and introduced myself and explained Geohashing a bit. I gave him the short version. I told him that I probably already knew the answer but asked if I could have permission to make it to the hash spot.

He said that he didn't see any reason why not. I was shocked that he said that. I asked if it was okay for the kids to. He said sure. He also said that the horse would probably avoid us when we walked inside of the fence.

I got the kids out of the car and we all walked to the gate. I guess the horse is not afraid of children and decided to come over. Well, the kids became afraid of the horse and I was the only one to make the last 50 feet to the geohash spot.

The owner had some hay out to give to the horse and the kids did pick some of it up but became afraid when the horse opened her mouth to take it.

I took a few picture of the horse and the kids. We then all thanked the home owner for letting us take pictures. We then all piled back into the car and headed back to Norcross.
