The hashpoint happened to fall halfway between a funeral and a baptism on the same day, not far from the main highway, and barely off a country road. So it was worth a shot even if it was unlikely to be successful, given that Mark was wearing a suit. Luckily, his dress shoes were in need of replacing, so a silly expedition was not out of the question.

After a bit of searching, his GPS neared zero. Finding a nice place to park, Mark put on the snowshoes, waved to a an occasional passing Amish buggy or ATV driver, and set off a dozen or so meters into a cleared, snow-covered, corn field. A very easy geohash.

While searching for the coordinates, Mark noticed some nice Sun dogs, and had to take pictures.

Achievements

Mark earned the Virgin Graticule Achievement by being the first to reach any hashpoint in the (43, -91) graticule, here, on 2010-02-06.

Mark achieved level 3 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in St. Paul SE, Minnesota and 3 of the surrounding graticules.

Mark earned the Formal attire achievement by looking good at the (43, -91) geohash on 2010-02-06.
