Expedition

tasuki borrowed a bike and went for a rather short trip to the ponds. The geohash turned out to be located in a private area behind a sturdy fence. I went on until I found the entrance with signs saying that access is strictly forbidden... and with gates wide open. As it was just an agricultural area and not a military one, I wasn't particularly scared. The geohash was easy to reach except for nettles (of course I had sandals and shorts).

tasuki earned the Virgin Graticule Achievement by being the first to reach any hashpoint in the (50, 19) graticule, here, on 2009-04-18.
