Just off the B1222 leaving York, in the middle of a private field, barely 100m from the road.

I cycled down from York on my lunch break, without a map let alone GPS, but I'd checked the graticule map and knew which field I was looking for.
The hash point was a lot further into the field than I expected, so I stayed at the main road, at the junction to the bottom-left of the field (as viewed on Google Maps satellite view).
It turns out the house in the picture is the cattery signposted - so I probably could have got closer. Ah well.
Oh, and I did take some photos of my watch to prove the date, but they turned out too blurry - my original plan was to take a photo of the date on my phone; the only flaw being that I was using my phone to take pictures...
